Enjoy classic photos of the 20th centuries most beloved Black icons including Rev. Dr.Martin Luther King Jr., Rosa Parks, Muhammad Ali, and Thurgood Marshall. These photos make a great addition to business and home office spaces, foyers, and historical enthusiast collections.

Following up, Jo's Gallery proudly presents a collection of our featured artists, that showcases contemporary works from each artists. Ziwadi Majiisa describes herself as “spirit-led” rather than self-taught. She feels her creativity comes from a higher power and that she is the vessel through which it is expressed. She was commissioned to do a children’s mural at Thurgood Marshall Elementary School and wall art at Paul Robeson Academy. Another exclusive collection from Jo's Gallery includes Marta Carvajal and her "Tribute To" Series where she paints collages of Black historical prolific activists, entertainers, and civil rights leaders in what can be described as a refurbished viewing of Black icons. She presents well known personalities like Jimi Hendrix, Ella Fitzgerald, Louis Armstrong and more in a limited edition collection, while also producing her "Tribal" collage series of prints that display stark images of tribal members beautifully captured in her signature style.
